I am a pair of crocs in the shoe cupboard of life.

So I’ve been moving things upstairs to my new room. So far I’ve filled my wadrobes and brought all my games and important letters up. Tomorrow I’ll be getting my new bedding and mattress from ikea so I’ll be able to sleep up there which I’m super excited about cause there’s a window right under my bed so I’ll be able to look at the stars before I sleep and wake up in sunlight.

I should be getting my Tetris light like dan and phil’s for my sofa and tv area soon too! And I think I want to make a rainbow canvas for one of the walls. Anyway I’ll post pictures when it’s all done :D

Beginning to accept that it is impossible for me to do assignments unless I’m under pressure because of deadline day to actually get them done.

On the whole this year has been pretty decent really. If I had to sum it up in one word it would be first. I turned 18 right at the end of 2011 so in 2012 I tried and experienced many new things that I hadn’t ever done before like going on a proper night out and traveling to new places one of these being my first holiday without my parents or teachers. Some of these experiences strengthened and built new friendships but others made me question who was really there for me.

I’ve achieved things that I never thought I would do. Getting into my first choice university to study Food and Nutrition was a big thing for me. A levels were fucking hard and some of the shit that I had to put up with didn’t help at all but I managed it somehow. I was a complete wreck that day in August cause my grades weren’t great so it was a massive shock finding out that I’d got in.

One of the best things about this year is that I finally got around to seeing Muse live which means a lot as they’ve got me through loads of stuff and I’ve got tickets to see them again next year which I’m really really excited about.

I hope 2013 is as good as 2012 was.

Tonight

I am going back to my old school for an A-Level “celebration” even though there’s not too much to celebrate considering the grades I got. I’m basically going to pick up my certificates and have some free wine.

Idk it’s going to be weird.  

Seeing Mystery Jets for the third time tonight and I have the day off uni tomorrow.
